Teaching experience
I started tutoring international GCSE/A-Level students remotely in my first year at university in 2018, mainly in psychology, biology and maths. I taught and explained key concepts as well as exam skills according to the students needs. My students increased their scores and got A and A* in exams. I also have the experience of providing advice on university applications for A-Level students.
In addition, I have been tutoring undergraduate students in psychology and relevant modules since 2020. Most of my tutorials were on essay writing and many students had an increased score by around 10 points.
I deliver my tutorials according to students individual needs and generally with a focus on the development of learning/exam skills, as I believe that suitable strategies can help students learn more efficiently. I normally deliver tutorials online via Zoom, with the use of the shared screen and annotations.
