Yifei

Hello, I'm Yifei Wang from China. I'm currently a 2nd year student in the University of Edinburgh studying Pure Mathematics. I would love to let the students explore the subject around first and focus on teaching students methods to solve problems.

I have 3 months teaching experience, mainly about Maths and Computer Sciences. Im a registered STEM Ambassador, teaching Scottish high school students.
I did this with my colleague, by firstly preparing the past papers of their subjects. We taught them general questions and then found what they were not good at. Then for the next class, we prepared more specifically to the areas that they handled poorly. Then we let the students to explore the methods to the specific questions and showed them what we thought. Finishing all the areas they were poor at, then we combined all the stuff together to see how they handle them in general.
