I teach Spanish in a dynamic, interactive and fun style. My lessons are mainly focused on speaking. However, I design tailored study plans, content, and materials adjusted to the learners profiles. I also provide Spanish cultural awareness.

I have 15 years of experience delivering one-to-one and classroom lessons, face-to-face and online, to all levels, from absolute beginner to high advanced. During these years, I have been teaching Spanish in diverse schools, agencies, and companies:

- Language School (Happy Languages, London, 2014-2022): delivering group and one-to-one lessons.
- Immersion Courses (Bond Street Languages, London, 2015-Present): providing intensive and tailored one-to-one tuitions.
- GCSE & A Levels Support Academy (Akademeia Tutor College, London, 2019 - Present): helping students in their Spanish subjects and exams.
- Different Business Companies (BXR Investment, Willis Tower Insurance..., London, 2016-Present): training business executives in corporative Spanish.
- Several Tutor Agencies and Platforms (Ana Spring Tutors, Spanish Arriba Academy, Global Spanish...): teaching all levels and ages in one-to-one lessons.

STUDENT'S AGE RANGE

My teaching experience includes a wide age range, from 12 to 70 years old. More specifically, I specialised in two age groups: GCSE, A Level and university students (from 14 to 25) and young adult and adult learners (from 25 to 55).

SPANISH EXAMS

I have prepared and supported students for official Spanish exams and certificates (AQA, Edexcel, WJEC and ELE exams) by training them in grammar, listening, speaking, writing, reading and comprehension. As a result, I gained a deep understanding of the exam requirements and training techniques.

MY LESSON'S STYLE

At the same time, I have developed my interactive teaching methodology and materials which I adapt to my students. In the first lesson with a new student, we have an initial exploration chat to discover their needs, learning styles, and interests. From there, I design a tailored study plan and materials adjusted to the student´s profile, open to discussion and improvement.

In the later lessons, we usually follow the next structure. First, I have a small chat in Spanish with my student about their life and the topic we will practice during the lesson. After that, we review or learn useful vocabulary and grammar tools simply and briefly to put them into practice. Thus, we practice with various interactive activities mainly focused on speaking or any relevant language aspect the student needs or wishes to improve. The lesson ends with a quick summary of the covered content, suggestions for the next lesson, and in some cases, homework.

The teaching materials used in these interactive activities include diverse formats (flashcards, pictures, songs, videos, story-telling, role-games, and short movies...) depending on the topic and the student´s preferences and progress. Additionally, I always like to provide my students with socio-cultural content about Spain and Latino American countries for further enrichment and a deeper comprehension of the Spanish language.
