My main subjects are Maths, English. I start with a brief conversation with the student on the elements they find difficult within the subject. My focus in lessons is ensuring a safe environment so they feel confident to express concerns.

I have privately tutored students for the past four years, on weekends and after school during the week. I mostly tutor secondary school students aged from 12-16, however I have tutored primary school students from year 4 and above. My teaching approach is to make a student comfortable so they feel confident asking questions, so we are able to work through their weak areas in certain subjects together. Whilst still maintaining a professional relationship so that they continue to focus on their work. My main aim is to boost confidence and work through topics that they struggle with. In addition, I focus on ensuring that the student understands everything we go through before we move on.
