My main subjects are English, Language and Literature Teaching. My teaching style is interactive and collaborative. Teaching is a team effort and I am flexible to each students needs. I focus on fostering critical thinking and writing skills.

Hello everyone! At school, I ended up excelling in English, both language and literature. I scored an A* in my IGCSEs, and a 7/7 (equivalent of an A*) in my IBPD degree. However, just like everyone, I had to overcome my own struggles with the subject, particularly because it was not predominantly spoken in my homeland. I think what makes me stand out as a tutor is not only my ability to explain concepts but being able to adapt that communication in accordance with different peoples needs. Throughout my experience, I have taught a variety of students, and I am aware that everyone needs to be tutored in their own way.

My love for English stems from my appreciation of the beauty of language and its ability to facilitate not only communication but understanding as well. When you are able to understand why someone uses certain words, be it in a news headline, a poem, or even just regular conversation, this gives you an insight into your own experiences and feelings. Studying English effectively enables you to master this skill, which will only become more important as you grow up!

With my help, I will communicate how you can achieve the best grades with exam tips, as well as teach you how to identify hidden meaning within a text on your own so that you can apply this yourself. I am also adaptive in my teaching methods, ensuring that what I teach and how I teach it is suited to your individual needs. At the end of the day, teaching requires us all to be in sync, as a team.
