Teaching experience
I started tutoring in 2012, when I was completing my A-levels. I taught English, Maths and Science to students up to GCSE level.
While I was studying at Kings College London, I continued to tutor privately. After I completed my degree, I moved to Thailand where I worked as a teacher of English as a Foreign Language. I had approximately 100 students at this time.
Upon moving back to the UK, I started tutoring full-time. At this time I was teaching English, English as a Foreign Language, German and history. I taught English as a Foreign Language at the Royal Hospital School during a summer school. Additionally, I started volunteering at Breaking Barriers, an organisation which helps refugees integrate into society. I worked as the lead English teacher, teaching a class of students at pre-beginner level. I also wrote the content all the lessons plans for future teachers.

TESTIMONIAL
Sharmila was a great help during my GCSEs. She helped me to understand An Inspector Calls, Romeo and Juliet and the poetry really well. I did a lot better in my English exams because of her - definitely would recommend.
