Hello everyone, I am Sarah. I offer tuition in the following subjects: Early Years, KS1 & KS2. Maths, English and Science for KS3, Maths and English Literature & Language for KS4, and Religious Education and Philosophy for KS5.

I have worked with children and young people for over 16 years, both in a youth work and educational capacity. Since 2015, I have worked in specialist SEN and mainstream schools, both in supportive and teaching roles. Between June 2019 and April 2022, I worked as a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant at a local school, and then took the leap into Self Employment, and I haven looked back! I have roughly 20 clients at any time, via agencies and private contacts. What I love about 1:1 and small group tutoring is that I get a chance to establish close relationships with the children Im teaching, familiarise myself with their individual learning needs, and tailor lessons to suit their strengths whilst also addressing their weaknesses. I am very pastoral in my approach and Im always mindful of a childs mental wellbeing. I believe that the learning journey is just as important as the outcome. I love to laugh and have fun with my students and allow them the chance to steer their learning when appropriate.
