Learning a musical instrument is a lot of fun and can be extremely rewarding. I help my students learn to play, improve their skills and develop as musicians.

I have previously taught workshops for groups of students, as part of the National Youth Jazz Orchestra.

The main focus of my private tutoring sessions is to instill a broad understanding of a range of music styles. Plus an enjoyment for a variation of music styles and approaches, including improvisation.

Learning and developing musical skills should include a balance of preparing for examination when required, and having fun. I always strive to instill a lifelong love of music.
