Teaching experience
I volunteered to tutor in rural parts of Cyprus, and the SOS Children’s Village have helped carve my abilities to cater to the needs of secondary and high school pupils. T
his was later followed by my paid summer job for three years at Success Study Centre in Nicosia which specializes in GCSEs and A-Levels. I enjoyed helping students with their university applications and personal statements.
As a student myself, I know the importance of forming a foundation in earlier stages as it is vital for higher education. I believe there is miraculous power in spotting the minute details with every student and adapting to their special needs.
I believe my multidisciplinary course allows me to fulfill the mission of a tutor as biomedical engineering is one of the unique course structures that combine and stems from science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
Thus, I am happy to help students with English, biology, physics, chemistry, mathematics, and ICT subjects.
My solid education foundation gives me the confidence to work with high-level information in all formats. I especially am useful in manipulating data with software programmes like Excel, Python, PowerPoint, MATLAB, Arduino, FeBio, and designing in AutoCAD.
I plan to utilize these tools to create interactive and enriched content for pupils to make up for the distant education they had last year.
My passion has and will always lie in physics, biology, and mathematics where my desire to learn and inquisitiveness to discover has led me to choose a path in biomedical engineering.
I am eager to embark on the next stages of my journey by teaching these subjects with enthusiasm. Being fully aware of the responsibility of delivering knowledge, I would be proud to play my part in assisting and educating children at this phase in the world when collaboration is most needed.
