Hi, my name is Ruby. I just graduated and I am passionate about teaching! I find the most effective teaching method is breaking concepts down and building ideas up again in different formats. My main subjects are History, English and Mandarin.

I have a wide range of teaching experience over the past 5 years. I have worked as a teaching assistant in a primary school in London, helping teach young ages (5-11) and get struggling students to engage in class.

I have a wealth of experience tutoring both online and in-person in London, as I am registered at many stellar tutoring agencies. Here I am largely approached for GCSE tutoring and exam revision to improve students' grades. I am also extremely confident teaching ages 11-18 for both exam and non-exam-related help. My teaching style, especially for exams, focuses on teaching writing style, breaking down classic essay questions into manageable formats, and ingraining thematic knowledge through the use of different visual techniques.
