My background is teaching Guitar, Ukulele, and early plucked instruments - such as the Renaissance Lute. I studied composition at University and have a diverse and broad knowledge and approach to my teaching. I am naturally pupil/student focused.

Mainly in the educational sector; in Primary Schools, Secondary, Music Centres and privately for both children and adults. I’ve taught for 20 years, preparing students for Trinity and ABRSM exams, performing element for GCSE candidates and generally for enjoyment and to gain the General Musicianship skills and instrumental technique required, to advance and enjoy making music.
I am pupil/student centred in my approach and have an empathic and nurturing manner in my teaching.
