Hi, Im Makuo! I teach Biology and Maths. I like to structure my lessons by establishing understanding first using diagrams and videos. This followed by exam questions, I feel is the most effective way to teach and is the method I use when revising.

Ive been tutoring with an education platform and have completed 206 lessons. I typically teach Years 9 - Year 13.

I like to establish which topics my students are weaker at and tackle these first. Doing practice questions of varying difficulty helps me get an idea of my students baseline. Following this, we review the content using examples, diagrams and videos. We then begin with simple questions and then build on this until their knowledge is robust.
