My lessons are interactive and encourage students to apply what they have learned and remain engaged. I use a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to different learning styles.

As an experienced educator, I have spent over a decade dedicated to teaching English. My journey in the field of education began with a Bachelors degree in English and American Literature from the University of Kent. I received my CELTA in 2012 and my DELTA (Level 7) teaching qualification in 2019. Last year, I was voted teacher of the year at my school. Throughout my career, I have honed my teaching skills through diverse experiences in various educational settings, teaching both children and adults across a wide range of levels (A1-C2 CEFR).

I am currently studying Speech Language Therapy at City University in London and am particularly interested in Pronunciation, speaking and phonology. I also continue to teach pre-sessional courses at UCL in London throughout the summers and evening classes at City Lit in London throughout the year. My specific area of expertise is in teaching General English (Elementary, Pre-Intermediate, Intermediate, Upper Intermediate, Advanced), as well as a variety of English examinations including IELTS, PET (Preliminary English Test), FCE (Cambridge First), CAE (Cambridge Advanced), CPE (Cambridge Proficiency). I have created my own website with materials for both academic and general English, but also integrate coursebooks and online materials (including authentic texts) where appropriate.
