Lauryn

Hi there! I'm Lauryn and I'm currently in my final year studying Mathematics at Loughborough University. I have extensive experience teaching Maths and Further Maths from KS3 to A Level, both in person and online.

I've taught both in person and online, to a range of ages from KS3 to A Level. I specialise in tutoring for exam preparation but have also tutored students over the course of their GCSEs and A levels as well.

In terms of my lessons, they are generally split into three distinct sections:

- I spend the first few minutes on a few warm up exercises to ease the student into the lesson space and get into the right mindset for learning.

- For the bulk of our time together, I work through examples and problems together with the student with a range of difficulty to stretch and challenge them.

- I spend the final few minutes of the lesson reflecting on what went well, what we can improve upon next time and getting input from the student on where they might like to take their learning next.
