Hi, my name is Henry and I am an experienced Mathematics, English, and Philosophy tutor. I equip my students with the vital skills they need to succeed now and in the future.

I've been tutoring for several years now. This experience has allowed me to develop a teaching style that not only improves understanding and attainment but also helps students build essential study skills so that they can continue to thrive at university and beyond.

I have students ranging from 13+ right the way to undergraduate level. I also have several adult learners to whom I teach a curated syllabus.

Students of mine have sat 13+, GCSE, A-Level, and University level exams.

My session's structure and style vary depending on the needs of the student. No two students are the same so I plan and execute my lessons in a manner that addresses the unique needs of the student.

Rather than spoon-feeding students with pre-prepared answers, I equip them with the skills that they will need to take control of their own learning. That being said I always set aside time in lessons to make sure that students have a thorough understanding of the topic being taught.

My main subjects, Maths and Philosophy, are quite different so they do require slightly different approaches. Stellar maths and philosophy students both have several things in common though; an excellent understanding of the materials, a structured and logical approach to questions, and the knowledge of how to effectively practice. Each of these three attributes I weave into my lessons so that students have the very best shot at success.
