I specialise in the area of English language structures: reading & organising information into writing and communication skills. I focus on learner centred lessons with a communicative and content based language teaching approach.

I worked as an English language teacher for around 2 years at a school with students from 8 to 12 years old. Being a CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) certified teacher, I am eligible to teach adults as well and during my CELTA training session I taught university students within the age group of 19 to 21. Moreover, I have experience of teaching a few IELTS candidates during 2020 pandemic. Currently I am working as an ESOL and Functional Skills Lecturer at a college in London in which all my learners are adults and their age group is from 18+ to 65. As per my gained skills and knowledge, I always try to make my teaching sessions interesting by implementing various kinds of warmer and interactive games such as running dictation, onion ring, role playing activities etc. My intent is to engage the learners by introducing them with real life resources which make the lessons meaningful to them.
