Grainne

Hi, my name is Grainne! I take a pro-active approach to tutoring and always ensure students feel comfortable to learn. My main subjects are maths, biology and chemistry up to GCSE level. I also tutor a-level biology.

I have tutored in person and online for almost three years. I mainly focus on KS3 and GCSE level (11 - 16), however I also teach biology at a-level. I have worked with multiple students as they sit their GCSE maths and science exams.

I have a pro-active approach to learning to ensure students understand the knowledge. This involves working through examples, practice questions and quizzes. I create a tailored experience and lessons plans for each student, because every individual learns differently. I also provide termly written feedback and I have solid understanding of the curriculum.
Tutoring is my passion and I would love to work together on helping your child gain more knowledge and feel more confident and curious with learning!
