I tutor GCSE English literature and English Language. My teaching style ranges from using online material , High Level textbooks and exam practice. I use methods like active recall, as it is proven to improve grades and increase knowledge retention.

I currently tutor at a company called Top Learning, teaching students from year 3 to year 11. By teaching 8 year olds to 16 year olds, I was able to become very adaptable and increase my communication skills. My teaching approach is very flexible as each child has a unique style of learning.

To describe it in depth, I always begin by taking a note of the English books my students are studying at school. I ask for their weakest point or topic and then we will focus on that as we work our way through the module.

I begin by making basic notes with my students and explaining difficult topics, which creates the foundation of their knowledge. I do a lot of language and text analysis as that is something that must be perfected in order to get the best grades. Afterwards, I aim to do a lot of exam practice and past essay questions.
