Hi, I'm George and I'm a Music tutor. I've been tutoring for over 3 years and work as a professional composer and orchestrator. I recently graduated from Durham University with a First-Class Honours Degree reading Music. I was also the 2023 recipient of the Eve Myra Kisch Prize for Musical Proffiency on the recommendation of the board of examiners.

I believe every student has a musical one in their body and music tutoring is all about formalising this engrained musicality so that students understand the mechanics of music. I have an in-depth understanding of music theory, history, composition, psychology, and performance, and I always strive to get the best out of my students. With a results-driven, yet enjoyable, method I pride myself on students not just achieving their goals, but also falling in love with music.

I tutor all ages, from primary level to university, and tailor every lesson to each student's needs and goals. I have experience working with children of all ages, and those who have additional learning challenges.
