Approachable and highly experienced A-Level Chemistry and GCSE Science qualified teacher and tutor based in London. 1st Class BSc in Natural Sciences, past Sixth Form Head of Year.

Since the start of my teaching career in 2016 I have taught GCSE Science and A Level Chemistry. In this period I have been Head of STEM Enrichment, the EPQ Coordinator, as well as a Head of Year in Sixth Form guiding students Post 16 and 18. I have tutored a range of students now for four years and have also taught A Level Physics since 2021.

In this time I have learnt that detailed and synoptic knowledge is key to success. To achieve this I integrate building confidence in my students by gradually conveying expert curriculum knowledge with holistic non-curricular understanding that from experience gives students a concrete ability to process and retain knowledge. This is always done in a relaxed environment where after each session students feel that they have achieved.
