My Chemistry lessons are planned, interactive and tailored to the students needs. I aim to create simple models to explain complicated concepts. I install confidence in my students and give them the tools they need to succeed academically.

Throughout all of the academic year 2022, I tutored a student through their GCSE Chemistry. I have experience teaching 15 and 16 year-olds, however, I am open to teaching any age group.

I am a reliable and methodical person who can adapt to the specific needs of a student. I think very carefully about the content of my lessons to ensure they are as effective as possible. I like to use interactive PowerPoints to summarise a topic in my own words, providing models to help students understand and retain concepts and information. I frequently check in with the student, ask them questions and encourage them to ask any to me. I like to incorporate past exam questions and mark schemes so that my students are familiarised with the question style. I also am happy to offer recommendations to my student on revision techniques.

However, I am very flexible and will happily adapt my teaching style and content to a students needs.
