I am a friendly, enthusiastic and encouraging flute teacher aiming to inspire and share my passion for music with others.

I have experience of teaching both primary and secondary pupils of mixed ability. My lessons are personally tailored to suit each student’s individual needs. I have experience of pupils who want to take exams and others who just want to progress for pleasure. I am therefore aware of the necessity to structure lessons differently, depending on the individual’s desired musical path.

I am a creative and enthusiastic musician and have implemented a number of innovative teaching methods and ideas into my lessons which are very successful with current pupils. I believe enjoyment is extremely important when learning music and my teaching style ensures this is at the forefront of my lessons.

To be able to share my excitement for music with others and to be a part of any students’ individual musical journey is a great privilege.
