Freelance musician and teacher currently studying, with a scholarship, for a Master's Degree at the Royal Academy of Music. I have played in various Orchestras and have experience in teaching private lessons.

Piano and Oboe Tutor, in Brent, London

I have experience teaching private oboe and piano lessons. My students have been of all ages and abilities, therefore I am able to tailor my lessons to meet the needs of the individual. Working with the students to set realistic goals based on their abilities and ambitions.

Regularly participating in workshops and masterclasses within schools, means I have great experience of teaching children.

In addition to my private tuition, I have worked with the National Children's Orchestra and the Benedetti Foundation, for many years. Plus, I have coached ensembles on the English Camerata summer courses.

I believe lessons should be fun yet challenging. Teaching is very rewarding, and I ensure that my students remain engaged and enthusiastic in order to make the most progress. I actively encourage all of my students to engage with ensemble playing. As students learn best when technical aspects are combined with learning lots of repertoires.

I have been lucky to study with many world-class musicians and educators. Each taught me something different, which I incorporate into my tutoring. These musicians and educators include:

In the academic year 2018-19, I spent a year in Germany at the Musikhochschule Lübeck with Professor Diethelm Jonas as part of the Erasmus program.

I have played with numerous orchestras such as English Arts Orchestra, Regency Sinfonia, and Academy Symphony and Chamber Orchestras. Whilst still at school, I played with the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain for two years, which included performances at the Royal Albert Hall as part of the BBC Proms, Festival Hall, and the Barbican Centre with conductors such as Sir Mark Elder and John Wilson.
