Hi, I'm Diya, and I am a Science and Math tutor with a lot of experience in teaching a large range of children from Year 5 - A-Levels. A student's desire to learn is special and my goal is to nurture and develop this the best of my ability!

I have 3 years' of experience as an academic tutor, both online and in-person. During this time, I have worked with multiple tutoring organisations across London - sometimes two or three at a time. I have experience in tutoring privately and to a small group of students in school.

I teach Maths and Science (Chemistry, Biology and Physics) to students ranging from Year 5 - A-Levels. With most experience in teaching students who are in year 9 onwards, I am now branching my tutoring profile. I have recently collaborated with a company that tutors mainly 11+ students for their exams. I have been able to help them substantially for the same just yet.

I usually prepare topic specific presentations catered for the level of the student, customised and modified as we move forward, upon understanding the students learning curve and method. I believe it is important to review the knowledge of the content and so make it a point to revise any taught topic with basic and exam styled questions. So the student does not only understand the topic but is able to tackle questions for the same, an area most students are grateful to receive help with.

With this teaching experience, I was able to realise that a strong desire to see students accomplish their academic goals drives me. I am ready to offer top quality tutoring to these learners.
During my high school years, I managed to help students younger than me with their academics after school hours. Their inclination to opt for extra help was incentive enough for me to teach them. I have also worked with Non- Governmental Organizations across Mumbai to tutor under-privileged students, who suffered from learning disabilities and anger management issues and were considered particularly difficult to work with. However, I think where there is an aspiration to learn, there’s always a way. I was able to produce material specific notes that made learning easy and interactive for them. These experiences have helped me develop my tutoring skills and gain some experience in the provision of tailor-made tutorage to all students.

I am enthusiastic and approachable and have been in touch with being a student myself not so long ago. I understand all the feelings from the laid-back approach to a highly attentive one and so, would be the right person to help your child with their education specific to their stage.
