I have a profound passion for education. I strive to find ways to make my sessions enjoyable, bespoke and challenging. I guide pupils in a way that makes them become self-aware, reflective and driven.

TUTORING: My main subject disciplines are English, Drama and Acting. In addition to my main disciplines, I have also taught and tutored Religious Education, Music, PSHE, History, Geography and Science from KS1 to KS3. I have seen students through at GCSE level with an 100% pass rate and have also coached acting for LAMDA examinations with pupils succeeding in the grade entered for in addition to coaching for Drama School entry.

TEACHING: As a Head of Faculty my remit was vast regarding my roles and responsibilities within the school that extend beyond the teaching of English and Drama. I was involved with a teacher training program, where I mentored a trainee teacher to become fully qualified over the course of nine months. I also line managed for a newly qualified teacher, which included quality assuring lessons and providing support where needed. This has given me the opportunity to reflect on my own practice and set an example through my own teaching for the various colleagues that I mentored. I taught English and Drama from KS3 to KS4 guiding them through a rigorous curriculum that I had tailor-made, which was fully differentiated and catered to the needs of the pupils of the school.
