I teach English Literature and Language and Art & Design. I work with all ages and levels including university students, teachers, nurses and those needing assisted technology.

I have a conversational style approach in which we build the learning around the interest of the learner. I have taught in various settings for twenty years, including secondary education, outdoor instructing, adult colleges, special needs education primary schools and a therapeutic residential. My attainment of Literacy Level 4 ensured that I could deliver English FS E3-L2, BTEC and GCSE to learners in FE colleges, PRU and adults in Cambridgeshire.
Age ranges from year 9 to Adults. My approach to these subjects is building with the learners interest a critical system for using their strengths and tackling their weaknesses. The long term aim is to create independent strategies for developing their work.
A learner with a Science interest dreaded story writing in the English GCSE, so we experimented with his interest in World War Two to include the range of writing techniques required for a pass.
