I am able to teach: Mathematics to KS3, GCSE, IGCSE and IB Spanish for higher and foundation tiers, as well as GCSE and A Level English for foreign students. My teaching style is based on personalised feedback and a focus on weaknesses.

I have 7 years experience as a private tutor for Spanish and Maths. I have taught many students from as young as 10 - 12 years to 16 - 18 years old up to adults.
I am also previously a teacher for Guildford College where I was in charge of 104 students. During the pandemic the importance of online teaching has made me change my teaching style to solely online learning.
I am someone who tries to motivate the student. I make it clear that I am here to cooperate with them to reach their own personal goals.
Firstly the organisation of my lessons has to be engaging and must have attributes that can be related to real life. Secondly when engaging my students I must personalise their feedback in order to correct mistakes effectively, it also helps to motivate the student if they know that their feedback can help them personally to grow. Thirdly, I must install a craving to learn. The need to learn in modern education is at constant odds with the advancement of social media and gaming stimulation. I have witnessed how students prefer to be stimulated visually rather than through books. I have been able to counter that sort of culture through the use of poetry and open discussions. I believe students have to be shown that creativity and personal reflection are essential if they are to succeed in life.
