In each lesson, well briefly cover the topics of our last lesson, focus on a new topic and finish by discussing what you have learned as a recap. I like to keep tasks fun and engaging so the student can build confidence in their achievement.

I have worked for Explore Learning for around 18 months now. I taught Maths and English to students aged 4-16 years old. Most of the students I have taught have been preparing for their SATS exams or the transition between key stages or schools.

In my time as a tutor, Ive found that the majority of my students benefit from using the recap, learn and teach to me method. This is particularly beneficial is breaking down longer lessons into three manageable sections to keep the student engaged in their learning. If the student is not comfortable or not benefiting from this method, Im happy to discuss new alternative methods that will benefit them and their learning process.
