I believe every student can be exceptional, when listened to and with clear targets to aim for. Communication is particularly important to achieve this, and through tailored sessions students usually can make progress every lesson .

I am currently in my second year at The London School of Economics studying Mathematics and Economics, I have been tutoring for 4 years now and have worked in a variety of environments.

I volunteered at a local primary school as well as Rugby High School (state grammar for girls) to tutor a range of subjects, particularly in the sciences.

I have also tutored at a number of other tutoring sites and I have received training on tutoring students ages 4+ in English and Mathematics. I worked from a 1:1 to 1:6 ratio there, tutoring children of various abilities including those with Special Needs.

I believe feedback is particularly important not only between the tutor and parent, but also between the tutor and student, so I can adapt my teaching style, whether that is offering more challenging homework with independent learning or writing notes in prose to document the entire lesson for them to look back on, I am personally invested in the success of my students who have all fed back to me seeing improvements in their classwork.

Currently Im tutoring Maths and English for KS3 Students.
