Politics (GCSE) tutors

Primary SEND TA & Trainee Teacher working in mainstream classrooms to support pupils with additional needs and learning difficulties.

My main subjects would include English, Maths, History and Politics. My teaching style is online and focuses on the person I am teaching, ensuring that they have understood the content and grasped any techniques by the end.

I have been a tutor for the past 6 months and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. I teach mainly primary school and I really enjoy the children and helping them gain confidence in themselves. I use a sustained style of teaching, such as active recall.

The subjects I teach are English Literature and Language, History and Politics. My lessons are thorough and detailed, but visual, relaxed and interactive! I believe communication is fundamental to effective learning, thus, my lessons are reciprocal!

I am a recent graduate specialising in English, History and Politics up to and including A Level. I provide lessons that suit the individual needs and abilities of each student, in a personable and engaging manner.

My teaching style is laidback but with structure. This is to ensure that the student feels comfortable raising questions and concerns. From previous experience, I have found that this works best and creates a structure to support the students best.
