The cello is part of the orchestral string family; the cello is considerably bigger than its counterparts such as the violin. The cello is supported by a peg at its base and rest between the player's knees. Unlike the piano where the sound quality is very reliant on the instrument itself, the cello needs a great amount of training and practice.
The benefits of cello lessons:
- One to one lessons tailored to meet your specific needs.
- We teach proper hand position, posture and the correct habits that may impede a student's progress.
- Our instructors can recommend the correct size appropriate for their age, size and ability level.
