About TeachTutti
Our mission
To offer quality tuition for anyone who wants to learn
We believe learning is a lifelong experience for everyone. Education brings out our strongest qualities, making us curious, energised and increasing our self-confidence. Through learning we develop ourselves and realise our potential. This should be for anyone and everyone who wants to learn, not just the chosen few. The name "TeachTutti" is a musical term and means everyone play. This is what TeachTutti aspires to: anyone can learn and develop, no matter the skill level or experience.
TeachTutti is designed to be as flexible as possible so that students can book lessons quickly and easily. We provide the opportunity for qualified and vetted tutors to show their skills and experience as teachers. For more details, see our frequently asked questions.

Meet the founder
Liam Hindson
Liam Hindson began his teaching experience as a music tutor across London and continues to teach piano and violin to all ages. He created TeachTutti to help students find qualified music tutors, but soon extended this to include all forms of learning. Liam believes that learning brings out the best in people and that anyone can learn in a trusted and supportive relationship between student and tutor.
Our story
I first had the idea to create a tuition platform when my students mentioned how difficult they had found it trying to find a suitable tutor. The main concerns were quality of teaching and safety. Likewise, having recently graduated at the time, I knew tutors who loved teaching but struggled to find students.
I felt that there was a need for an education platform that could introduce students to high quality tutors. Realising this became the vision of TeachTutti since its creation in 2013. That’s why our company is called TeachTutti, the word “tutti” meaning “everyone play”.
To ensure quality lessons, TeachTutti requires tutors to possess a minimum of one qualification in their subject and teaching experience. Many of our tutors have been vouched for by student testimonials. Most importantly, every tutor has an enhanced DBS check.
